GO Guesthouses in Oxford

Guesthouses in Oxford Sometimes when we’re visiting an unfamiliar city it’s nice to be able to stay at a real home-from-home that offers comfortable accommodation and friendly staff.

The Oxfordshire Inn [map] in Bletchingdon is one such place. Set in 250 acres of beautiful countryside and woodland, the guest house is just a few minutes drive from Blenheim Palace and the Costwolds. This is a particularly romantic setting for a weekend away with a loved one.

The Lakeside Guesthouse [map] is a family-run establishment that offers first-class accommodation and attention to detail. The spacious bedrooms are individually designed with beautiful furnishings and room facilities include en suite bathroom, tea and coffee refreshment tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and colour satellite TV.

The Ridings Guesthouse [map], is a small stylish guest house situated just south of the city centre. Friendly staff are on hand to make sure your stay is as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. You can even choose the type of breakfast you have in the morning from the choice that includes full English, vegetarian and continental, as well as a child-friendly option.

The Dial House [map] in Headington, is built in a Tudor style, with ample parking and eight spacious en suite rooms that offer access to the Internet. Each room is individually furnished in a style appropriate for the setting and most rooms boast a view over the large garden.

Hawkwell House Hotel [map] in Iffley, is an English country house offering a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Oxford city centre. The hotel is in the leafy village of Iffley on the River Thames, just a short drive from the centre of town, complete with its own Norman church next door to the hotel.

There are 51 en suite bedrooms including four suites which are sumptuously decorated and offer luxurious accommodation with direct dial telephones, state of the art televisions, and modem points, as well as a hospitality tray.
