GO Car & Motorcycle

Getting Around in Harrogate Harrogate has good links to the UK motorway network and can be found by travelling on the A61 from the South and North, the A59 from the East and West.

Harrogate has good parking facilities in the city centre. There are three multi-storey car parks and five surface level car parks.

If you are planning on using Harrogate’s car parks it might be worth investing in a Smart Card. It saves having to fumble around for small change when you’re in a hurry and you’ll also be able to make big savings on parking fees. For more information about the Smart Card facility visit the Concessionary Fares and Parking Shop, Level 10, Victoria Multi-Storey Car Park, East Parade, Harrogate.

People that have disabilities and own a Blue Badge can park in the following areas:

Any of the Council’s off-street car parks. Parking is free of charge and for an unrestricted length of time

Any parking place on-street. Parking is free of charge and for an unrestricted length of time.

On single or double yellow lines (apart from where a loading/unloading restriction exists) for a maximum period of three hours, providing that your vehicle does not cause an obstruction to other traffic or pedestrians.
