Comedy In Edinburgh
Say “Edinburgh” to most people and the first
word that will come into their head is “Festival”.
When people think of the festival they more often than
not think “comedy”, as Edinburgh really is
the UK’s first city of comedy.
Visitors to the Comedy Fringe Festival that takes
place every August have fond memories of seeing some of
the world’s top comedians before they made it really

pub and being the only audience member to the said comedian

upstart comedians take to the stage. There’s usually
five acts a night so well worth paying the money for and
as laughter is thirsty work there’s a range of alcoholic

Edinburgh lining up a host of familiar names. Jongleurs
is at Greenside Place and a great night out for a group
