Bristol University [map] has several halls of residence that offer bed and breakfast accommodation during vacation times (usually Christmas and July to September) as well as self-contained accommodation in student flats. Hiatt Baker Hall [map] halls of residence, offers single, standard accommodation on a room only basis with continental breakfast available at an additional supplement.

If you’re travelling with a large family or group of friends, why not try Goldney Hall [map], which offers self-contained accommodation in student flats in the grounds of Goldney House. These flats are fully equipped, with electricity and bed linen included in the price. There are four self-catering flats with six en suite rooms, 28 flats each with eight bedrooms. People travelling alone or hoping to make friends will find the atmosphere of the YHA youth hostel [map] at Narrow Quay, just perfect. This hostel makes an ideal base to explore the vibrant city of Bristol. With views over the waterways, it has been sympathetically restored to create a relaxing yet cosmopolitan atmosphere.
