Air Travel in Brighton If you’re heading to Brighton via the friendly skies then the nearest airport is London Gatwick [map], which is about 30 minutes away by train, coach or car.

Gatwick is the busiest single runway airport in the world, the second largest airport in the UK and the sixth busiest international airport in the world, with around 30 million passengers and 80 airlines.

Needless to say that from here you can get flights to more than 200 destinations around the world including America, Spain, Thailand and Greece.

The UK’s largest airport, London Heathrow, is located around 90 minutes away from Brighton but there is a regular train service to Victoria Station where you can connect with trains and coaches running directly to the city.
