GO Bus

Bus Travel in Blackpool As the busiest tourist resort in Europe, with more than 17 million visitors per year, it’s only right that Blackpool has plenty of public transport available linking it to towns and cities around the UK.

If you’re travelling from within Blackpool area then you’ll find there are regular services into the town centre from places such as Preston and Lytham St Anne’s.

Those coming from further a field would perhaps be best checking out the services offered by National Express, which helps to connect Blackpool to the country’s major cities.

Leaving from the Talbot Road Bus Station [map] in the heart of the resort, National Express coaches travel directly to a number of cities, including Manchester, Birmingham and London.

You can also get connections to cities such as Liverpool, Newcastle and Nottingham, and there are regular indirect services from Blackpool to Manchester, Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

For more information on National Express telephone (+44) 0900 80 80 80 or log on to www.gobycoach.com.

Or for general information on bus services in and out of Blackpool telephone 0870 6082608 or visit www.traveline.org.uk.
