GO Bars in Birmingham

Bars in Birmingham Start your evening in style by heading to one of Birmingham’s best bars. There’s plenty to choose from so whether you’re looking for a quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle or somewhere to party in style you’ll find what you’re looking for here.

Code, Heath Mill Lane, Digby, is one of the coolest places to be seen. People come from far and wide to experience the famous God’s Kitchen night and this means long queues, but don’t let that put you off. With a brilliant sound system, excitable atmosphere and excellent light display, you’ll be glad you braved the crowds.

Surfers Paradise, Broad Street, is a secret gem that’s part of Walkabout [map]. The ambient and low lit bar is perfect for chilling out and listening to the best surf tunes.

Zanzibar [map], Hurst Street, is a huge place perfect for dancing or simply relaxing in style. The music here is mainly chart and pop but this creates a fun and lively atmosphere.

Those looking for a comfortable place to eat a great meal whilst soaking up a friendly atmosphere should head to Brannigans [map], Broad Street. Fun is the order of the day and Brannigans attracts a varied crowd.

Over 25s needn’t feel out of place in Brum as there’s plenty of painfully cool bars that cater specifically for this age group.

Tiger Tiger [map] on Broad Street is a prime example. Customers are greeted by a huge and busy bar that has an over 25s policy every weekend. There’s a chill out room that caters for those looking for somewhere to re-energise and down a dark corridor you’ll find an industrial-style club.

Packed with interesting nooks and crannies, Tiger Tiger caters for whatever mood you happen to be in when you step inside.

Young trendies should find everything they need at Stoodi Bakers [map], Broad Street. This is a real party venue that proves popular with youngsters up for a good time and staff encourage you to get up and have a boogie on the tables.

The most colourful bar in Birmingham can be found at Bar Med [map], Corporation Street. This rainbow-styled bar specialises in excellent drinks and food offers. This is also the place to catch an up-and-coming superstar DJ, including James Bond from BRMB who regularly appears here.

One of the most recent additions to the Birmingham bar and club scene is The Works [map], Five Ways Leisure Complex, Broad Street.
This large and classy venue has a really mixed clientele and a variety of nights including student nights, retro evenings and plenty of cheesy dance music.
